early 14s is fairly easily achieved tbh. lose a load of weight a la martin, or mild mods, like myself. 14.6 with filter n zorst mods....14.0 with cams n remap. should have been quicker tho tbh.

yup, the cliolord has since found out my cams were a little bit out... only... 15 degrees or so lol! his words " you had less lift than standard cams!" so yeh.. look forward to pod now

and now i have a Williams gearbox with its shorter 4th gear and a mongoose that give me some back pressure instead of that straight thought pile of dogmess.

hoping for a 14.2 tbh! i'll be heavily annoyed if i don't make that! as the car its totally stripped!!

Best I have to bring to this is a 13.7 with a 106mph terminal which is really poor as i'm pretty awful at pod but i think I can do better this year with a it of luck. Not sure if my 2+ degree's of camber on the front will thwart my efforts though ll

best ive done in the naples is a 13.6@104mph but Gaz beat my time doing a 13.5@105mph.

there is room for a bit more movement, she has a horribley stiff throttle cable and i dont think im getting full throttle all the time, and shes always been like this!

ah well shakespeare in april, time to improve :D

I'd be happy with around a mid 13, have a couple of trackdays booked before i plan to go pod, and with my engine nearing 140k who knows how long it has left!

lol if i get in the 13's ill be stupidly happy! but that wont happen lol!

last time i went was the first time and i destroyed a clutch, albeit an RSI clutch lol! Motorfactor of Loose! lol

On my return i shall have,

kj16v remap, shorter box, timed up cams, mongoose, propper clutch so if i dont improve im doing something wrong.

Think Cliolord did a 13.2.... and rumor is the latest "mod" to jgx will make it quicker! lol

Anybody from here going to come to the Shakespere with the 16v lot?
