you worry about the air in your tyre being flammable but not the air all around you or in your lungs etc

    Hmm..

Load of crap on cars and an utter waste of money. At work we fill the aircraft tyres with nitrogen for one because it is less flammable, but also because it is stored in a bottle which means that you can be outside on the apron without worrying about getting to an air line. As mentioned air is around 80% nitrogen anyway so save your money.

    Wait...

They remove the tyre and re-fill with nitrogen? But what about all the oxygen in the tyre when they re-fit the tyre to the rim?

Do they blast batches of wheels up to the moon to be filled with nitrogen in a vacuum, ie, outer space?

Why spend £4 on getting your tyres filled with 'nitrogen' when you can just go to kwik-fit and have your ears filled with bulls**t for free?

If you use your car on track it make a huge difference as you dont have to set the pressures really low to account for them getting hot and increasing pressure. Usually take 1-2 session to get it right.

Road car wouldnt bother use it on track with some track tyres 4 quid saves you wasting track time.
