Doubt it, that land rover probably weighs about 2.8ton, lot more inertia to do damage with than a stationary clio.Originally Posted by Rich

Yeah insurance is all cool they rang me today to say they are going to pay for it. But they still seem to think its a write off.
I'm awaiting their engineer to look at it.
thing to remember nowadays mate. insurance companies want older vehicles of the road now. so they will write a any car over 10 years old off for the slightest bit of damage.
CLIO WILLIAMS 0215
Get some ads printed off of pricey williams and show the engineer when he comes

To be honest if its a write off I can't see me buying it back. I ain't got the time or space to fix it up.
Ok.. then if you haven't got the time, then buy it back (for as little as possible) and i'm sure one of the other members on here would gladly take it off your hands for the cost you paid to buy it back. (meaning it wouldn't be taking up that much space or time for very long
Refuse their first offer btw.. they ALWAYS try to get away with paying out as little as possible.
Still gutted for you.... (awaits the scavengers PM's to start getting to you).
