I was averaging bout 34 mpg on a 350 mile run down the motorway from Scotland sticking aound the 80mph mark most of the way.
Not had the car long yet so not enitrely sure on round town driving. Would prob estimate mid to late 20's mpg, but then Milton Keynes (with its grid system full of roundabouts) can take a hit on the old fuel consumption.
Around 300 miles to a £40 tank of fuel, on a reasonably good day.
see my lancia is doing aprrox 400km to 45 squid!! which is approx 250 miles....which is with a heavy right foot... and i suppose its to be expected with 200bhp...
but i was hoping the clio would do alot more really...

I get 200 miles to a tank!! No matter how i drive it!
I always get between 145 - 160 to £20 of petrol, don't think it's been outside of those brackets for the last 9 months and i've done about 12k miles in that time.... My driving is always on a fairly even mixture of city traffic, by-pass, and slow country back roads. and i'm not shy of getting it close to the red line on a daily basis. Averages about 32mpg
