    Polishing components available... i think?

    in relation to this thread:http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum/...=9479&start=30

"i've got polishing barrels at work
work for rolls royce with stones in them
we polish meatal turbine blades for the engines

also can grist/sand blast over them before at anything up tp 100psi
so can get them really good

if i stuck them in there ther polishing stones would have them done in 1 hour

gonna do this to my turbines "

i have had 3 people message me now asking about polishing components

my answer to them at the minute is this....

well i havent actually done any yet!

    i just had the brainwave!

in theory it should work becuse they come in as sandblasted aluminium and measure at 3.5um(surface smoothness)

when polished for 1 hour they come out at 0.4um which is about as smooth as a average kitchen spoon and they are really shiny and smooth

i'll have to look into it and use something as a tester first!

but it would definatly work if there used to polish rollys royce jet plane components
