    Any tips...

On cleaning and painting the block?

    I.e

-How to prepare it, shall i just use a wire brush and sand paper?
    -Things I should mask off?
    -Paint I should use?
    -How many coats?
    -How long to leave it?

    Cheers

    Danny

just like painting anything else really mate.

preparation is the key to a successful job. So make sure it is clean!! I am presuming it is out of the car and stripped down as much as possible. The best way would be to ultrasonic clean in good solution but sand blast or at least a freaking good jet clean...be careful not to damage the gasket surfaces. If you are manually cleaning then de-greaser and a stiff brush..and lots and lots of time...maybe a dremel or small drill wire brush could help get it done faster

painting is up to you...but remeber it will get hot

Yer good point, high temp stuff all the way then!

As the surface is already quite good, once i've cleaned it and lightly sanded it, can i not just spray over the top, or would it be better to remove all the old paint?

If you can wait a week or 2 try and ship one of these over

They're the absolute business dead easy to use and the paint will come up perfect. I used one on the engine in my hot rod and the paint is still as shiny as when it went on after 3 years.

    See ya
