oil level guage

got a slight intermittent fault on my oil gauge on my williams 2, only had it a day its great :D.

Anywhoo just wondering if any1 knows what it could be sometimes it reads empty other times it reads full , thinking it maybe a dodgy wire but i wouldnt even know where to look to change it pics would be great lol

IF IT IS TH GAUGE ON THE FAR LEFT IE LAST GAUGE? on left YES ?

if so it only works when you put igntion on it goes up for a 30s or a minate then goes to 0 just to check level off oil at cold (ie like dipping your oil level in engine bay)

it will not work when driving or car running ..

also d not take this level gauge as accurate IT IS NOT

I AGREE but it is nice being there .. the sports ie 172 182 have that little lcd thingy crapy in dash as same .. and no impact .. i like the gauges .. call me old fashened .. but i like the movement .. i fell like apollo 13

yup realized that it only works straight after you put the ignition on :P
