RENAULT 19 LEATHER INTERIOR

Hey guys....

Will a Renault 19 3 door leather in any way fit in my 5dr RT? Or would it have to be a 5 door which the seats are from??

yeah it is! at the time i bought it it was convenient to be a 5 door!

and it does have its benefits!!!!

seats r in kent so mite take a drive n have a look at em this weekend...

i paid £60 for my set, and it didnt include any metal bases.

As long as you have the runners etc.. the fronts will be a straight swap but because its coming from a 3 door you will have the frames which tilt forward to allow rear access, the rears should fit but im not fully sure as i dont know how the rear seats are fitted ? ! ? ! ?

Also they could look a little odd as to fit them you need to chop down the foam on both the back and the bottom and if you have the metal bases from the r19 then you will need to chop them aswell, which leaves you with more leather material to cover the foam.

Now on mine i trimmed the seam of the leather back a little to make the corners go flush, i think it looks ok as sometimes people have said theirs looks bunched up.

the only reason i'm gettin em is coz i need black seats as my grey ones will look terrible once i sprayed all the interior black!

so i think i mite go for it.... got to travel to kent to get them and they wont fit in my clio so i mite try and sort out a courier!!

end of the day all leather will crack, as will mine one day but looks the balls when its fitted!

theres no way they will fit in my car is there..... even wiv back seats complately down?? dont forget it is a 5 door!!!

think they might fit, but at a serious push
if the seller is offering to deliver them for a slight petrol cost then i would go for that option

save the time getting down there and then realising they dont fit!

hmmm... she thinks they will go in.... i think they should as well! if my front seats r pushed rite forward! take the sub n amp out the boot... put them seats down they should go in ok shudnt they....
