my mate has about £6000to spend and is after a half decent car......so far been looking at 328i's and possibly audi a3 1.8turbo's anything along these lines any1 got any suggestions???

What about a golf gti turbo? Same chassis as the audi a3 but cheaper to buy. My mate has one and its really nice. There about valver pace standard but with a re-map/chip they can be lots quicker
