    New Boy

    Hello all

Thought I'd better introduce myself since I've been the proud owner of little Willy2 for 4 years.

Where have I been ( I hear you cry )

Just finally got round to getting the Tinternet although I have broused here before picking up any helpful ideas from you chaps.

The Car, is there a better all round rocket machine for the money.

As your all aware the handling is sublime with plenty of poke from the sweet little twin cam engine.

The car I've found is pretty reliable (touch wood) only major work I've had done was the gearbox as the bearings were getting whiny and the clutch replaced as a matter of course.

Sorry no Pics as the car is now minging from all the salt on the roads, ( will posts some pics once all theis horrible salt is gone.

Any way look forward to some posts and possibly some meets ( preferbly Welsh hiils or Lake District :P )

ive tryed setting it up for trackdays more so as i dont really use it alot for general ragging etc, its still great on backroads, dont roll as much with the new springs, and when running the 195/50 tyres(track wheels) it can be abit bumpy on back roads but still extremely good fun!, but on track its fantastic, i do still have to std wheels with 185/55 tyres on which is great fun and easy to play with on backroads, id say its more 60/40 set towards trackdays but still great on backroads, and the brakes are fantastic over std! dont matter if track or backroad use lol

but really depends on what u like a few ppl like swervin_mervin likes the adjustability and ability to tripod the car around bends lol were as i prefer it to be pretty flat and composed really

I've kept mine fairly standard apart from a ver fruity exhaust K&N repacement filter and EBC Green Stuff pads and discs. As I love the Welsh roads and have another Track toy I haven't gone mad on mods. :o

My other baby is GT racing car called a Nemesis which I'm sharing with the father in law. It is base on a Dallora/ Rousch F3 racing car which we use for sprinting and hill climbing.

Its bl**dy good fun and must be one of the cheapest forms of racing

The Pads I've found good for Road use as they work straight from cold plenty of feel. but regret the discs as i had Black Diamond discs were hell of a lot better
