alternator belt change! (slipping with steering)

how easy is it to change the alternator belt?

mine starts to slip (or at least thats what iit sounds like)when i first turn the steering when just started

makes the dreaded squeeling noise and about wakes the whole street up!

isnt there something you can spray on the belt to stop it slipping?
i think i heard that hairspray did something , sure it was something like that!

yeah but its getting worse quickly

i've looked at the belt when turning power steering and if you turn steering wheel to fast the belt stops!! while the pullys are still going round

    new belt time im sure!
