Which oil

Alright,

im just wondering whats the best oil and grade to use in my williams 3 with 97k on the clock. At the moment it has 15w50 mobile 1 oil.

What would be the best?

I'm just away to put halfords motorsport 5w50 fully synth in my F7R.

We'll c how it goes but tbh it cant be any worse than the shite i have in now 10w40 semi synth! Horrible stuff!

5w40, esp in the winter

*w50 is overkill on a clio unless its a proper race car.

I use shell helix or silkoline, silkoline is cheaper, but its the hassle of ordering it, about £40 for 5 ltrs of silkoline, its about £50 or so for helix

helix isnt even in the same league as silkolene

im currently using Fuchs Titan Supersyn SL in 5W-40, its close to Silkolene and cheaper.......both are better than Helix, and probably cheaper when you pay petrol station prices

ok cool. where about can i get this silkoline oil - is it only around 40 for 5 litres?

what grade should i go 4 - 5w40 or 10w40

and should it be fully synth or semi synth
