Just bought a punto...

as some of u may know my red clio was written off couple of weeks ago.....




of which the other bloke hasnt responded to the insurance co' but im still waiting for my money but it should be fukin coming.....

anyway we went looking for a new cheap car with 30k or less miles on it and in the end we got a punto 1.2, its just three yrs old, we bought it with 12months mot, tax, fsh 3stamps, v good condition, we also got a yrs warrantee from the dealer.

admitidly it isnt the greatest, fastest car in the world but what i love about it is............. its quiet, low hassle, easy to drive, there isnt any start it 5mins before i drive it away or drive up to 2.5k until engine temp gets to 50 then 3k till 65dc (yes im anal about my williams). its lovely to be in a modern car, very smooth to drive and be a passenger in, its great when the fiancee fuks up changing gear and there isnt much jerking, thus not as much shouting now.
is a 182 beckoning?

i have to say i love the drive of a modern car, much smoother ride, quieter, more economical. However i reckon i'd get bored of that after a while and want the harsher, more raw driving experience of the older hot hatch

yeh the williams is very raw and fun, just since ive been doing 200mile weeks backwards and fowards to work at 60 to save petrol its not that much fun. id ultimatley love to keep it and have summit like a 306hdi/106gti as a daily runaround car. have to see how money goes
