    Nurburgring in May?

    No chance of me affording that either.

    But when I did go, it cost me about £600, for 3 nights in a decent hotel, petrol, food, beer etc for 2 of us driving a MK1 astra turbo (gives you an idea on petrol costs) and that was driving from Manchester (cost you less if you live closer to Dover)

    £1k seems about twice as much as it actually costs.

    Am hoping to do a long weekend at the ring around that time of year also before the rx7 goes. I'm planning for £600, but a £1k is a bit too hefty ....
    def have to do the ring at some point though, no point waiting either
