    disks and pad prices?

    wheres the best place 2 buy standard disks and sum decent pads?....

    MOT is soooon and im 99% sure im gona need new disks and pads all round :(

    i find halfrauds quite hard to beat tbh...wot was it jon..345 for a pair o discs n pads or summat....zollo said the pads werent too bad either

    erm, think it were £20 a disk and £4 for the pads!

    tbh, no, can't be beaten on price

    Yep, those £4 pads did me proud at Cadwell, particularly considering what a state the rest of the brakes were in!

    Aren't the rears quite a bit more expensive because they're the bearing carrier too? So you'll more than likely need new bearings as they'll be too seized to put back in? or something like that!

    yeah, they come pre pressed on the rears I think... not cheap... might go Halfrauds for them and use 2 live's 60% discount

    The ones I bought from Euro Car Parts didn't come with bearings pre-pressed. I had to get them seperately. £50 for the discs, and £55 for the bearing kit. Was I stiffed by the ECP boys?!?

    erm, think you got the long dry one there mate... i've only ever bought them pre pressed and for about £45-50...

    Thought as much at the time. But without the knowledge that they should definately come with bearings, I couldn't really agrue! Oh well

    well i didn't know either, I only found out when I asked why the rear disks cost twice as much as the fronts... lol

    live and learn I guess, at least you know now mate
