Mine is plastic/rubber but some have leather.
Not sure why unless Airbag went off and replacement fitted.

i have an airbag wheel that is leather, dont know why they would replace whole wheel if airbag had been deployed tho?

yeah my wheel is pretty nasty and plastic compared to my last leather one.
So do some ph2 valvers come with a plastic airbag wheel and some come with a leather plastic airbag wheel?
If so how hard is it to change them over? airbag removal etc.

Seems some come with the plastic one (like mine) and others with the leather.
Got a leather one with my leather interior and just got to fit it. But weird how some non leater seated cars have a leather wheel.
Usually with most sporty cars, you get a leather wheel. My MG Metro did and Ford's do.
Pretty odd.
As for replacement. The middle air bag comes out so you remove that then wheel then fit wheel then fit airbag.
I have two leather wheels one minus the airbag so posted that in the for sale but was wondering why some came with leather and some didn't.

My N reg Valver has a standard interior but has a leather wheel (tis big and nasty mind)

mines got phase 1 valver wheel, polished without the centre cap n polished boss n all! looks sweet n a million times better than the airbag crap!!
