Is there anything you can do to get the shine of a new car back without a full respray?
Can you get more laquer top coat applied?
If not, when is this group buy respray happening?

Yes, you can just have a re-lacquer.
Mat.
Does it look good with it?
I'd just find someone with a Porter Cable (US sourced random orbital buffer) and let them have a crack.
My roof looks no worse than the newly sprayed panels and that's just having used AutoGlym super resin polish a few times topped with Megs GC.
I'll be taking the PC route for the FCS.
I use jewel ultra diamond brite once a year. The shine it gives is amazing. Removes all old polish and crap from the paint. Paint looks like glass when you've finished. Also leaves a protective coat over the paint.
BH.
Where do you get this wonder stuff? How much is it?
Do a search on ebay. It is offered on brand new cars, it costs about £250 when they do it. You can buy it for about £30 on ebay I think.

"Once treated with the Jewelultra Diamondbrite process you will never have to polish your car again."
Needs polishing less it should say.
Really rate this stuff highly.
