the diagnostic socket in the fuse box, is this an OBD-I port ?
as ive found instructions on Ebay on how to make up a lead, and there is loads of software on Ebay aswell, was thinking i could maybe turn my dads spare laptop into a diagnostic thing

is that a plug near the battery? i have a plug there and its just flapping around lol
I have a R19 1.8 16V 1991 and I'm searching for the same information.
until now I've found the following informations:
Connector name: MT2500 64 or MT2500 76 (i think 64).
And some pages that seems to be usefull:

Someone know where is located the diagnostic port on the car?
I hope this can help.
(sorry for my english)
its def the one in the glove bos, brun it might be worth popping to you local reno dealer and ask if they have any leads floating about that you could buy, there hardly used now so they might have a few spare
all new renos have a different plug which is suppose to be universal they say lol
