My valver engine change progress pics (56k no at a guess)

Hi

Last week I decided to buy a low mileage clio 16v engine. The reason for this was because my old one was fairly shagged! The old engine needed new oil pump (low oil pressure) new water pump and clutch etc.

This is what has been done to the new engine off the top of my head:

All electrics taken off and disconnected + driveshafts removed
Got old engine out of the car! (what a b*tch) + back new engine back in which was just as hard!
Painted bottom half of engine bay with underseal
Painted rocker cover red + polished inlet + polished top of rocker cover
Painted cam cover red
Fitted new timing belt
Fitted tensioner
Fitted idler
Fitted aux belt
Fitted waterpump
Fitted old gearbox to new engine
Cleaned up engine
Changed engine sensors + changed old ones which looked dodgy
Fitted new distributor cap + rotor arm + ht leads
Fitted new spark plugs
Fitted new rocker cover gasket
Put new iscv on
Filled up gearbox
Put all electrics back in
Put on new ball joints
New brake fluid
Painted exhaust manifold with black heatproof paint

Tomz the last things will be plugged back in
Engine oil flushed + clean oil put in + new filter + sump washer and bolt
Coolant flush + backflushed
+ anything else
