Did u buy this from ebay mate, as they are selling some new ones on there now.

I liked it when i had it fitted to my car, but it was a little too low for my personal preferance.

    Really well made though pal.

Got it direct from BB Performance. It's supposed to almost retain the original height compared to some on the market like the one from K-tec? First time on this site. Got a Williams 1, 0062 a few days ago and just getting a few jobs done - discs/pads,short shift,no heat from fan!

Yeah, 0062 was Jans. Got the car off him last Saturday. Getting the heater checked out when i have the brakes and short shift fitted. Heard it's a crap job with the dash needing to come out. Got Performance GTI magazine the other day for the first time with a feature on the Williams owners club and 0062 was in one of the pics. Got a bit of cash to throw at the car, 200hp would be cool but don't fancy going the turbo route. Havn't heard of anyone supercharging a Williams? Is this because of lack of room under the bonnet? This would make for an interesting conversion although wouldn't know who to trust the work to?

Hi mate, welcome to the forum. You got a good Williams there. Certainly a quick one

For 200bhp, throttle bodies are the way forward. Benr on here should be able to help you out

Hope u didn't pay full price for the shifter (£176.25) from their website when they are selling for £100 on ebay providing you don't pay by card.

Otherwise would use distance selling regulations to get your money back and but the ebay one.

    Spot the difference:

that actually looks semi decent for a change!

I like the spherical bearing, the pish rubber and nylon ball are crap.

reduced throw shifters i don't like though, its easy to beat the synchro with a stock one!
