    Oil Temperature

Where-abouts does the needle rest on peoples oil temp guages, once up to temperature? Mine seems to stay around 120 degrees (5th line up), which seems mighty high to me

Doesn't get any higher though, even after a bout of high speed driving.

thats a bit high that mate,

mine used to sit higher when i bought it but after a few oil changes which im guessing was the problem in the first place it now sits at,

    Round town just under 80*C
    On motorway - 100*C,
When hammering it, staying around 4.5k-7k through the gears - 100*C,

However on Oulten i had it up to 120 once but then let it cool down for a bit first, i'd give it a good oil change pal and make sure you get it done every 3-4k and it should run cooler!

It will depend alot on what oil you use.

I think if I remember mine sits at around 90-100 ish, about a 100 on the motor way, the oil pressure sits a few notches below half way at normal cruising speeds.

Looks like I need to change the oil then!

On the plus side, it seems to heat up quite quickly :D

    Thanks for the response guys.
