oil refinery blaze... go fill up!

I know the news says don't panic buy etc etc... but it'll definately affect fuel prices, so go fill up while its cheap!

news is playing it down, but there is only a handful of refinery's in the UK so surely we'll see the knock on effects. i.e. higher fuel prices.

Half of that stuff was aviation fuel. There's no need whatsoever to panic buy, even if it was all domestic fuel...

    Here here!!

As stated half was aviation and the rest was a mixture of other fuels as well as petrol. It was the fith biggest in the UK so id imagine that we'll be fine.

Wouldn't have said tehre will be a fuel shortage, but prices will defo go up, that much is obvous in teh midlands, big refinary birminghamish area, petrol is a good 5p/ltr cheaper in coventry tehn at home in the sticks....higher transport costs means higher fuel prices.....poor ****ers lol
