Were you in the Williams or the Boxter ?
was in the Williams unfortunately! lol
those Boxter's aint the quickest of cars though, I was spinning up and still stayed along side him, then once it bit I was off... not miles faster, but bloody hell, expect more from a Porsche either way. I'll avoid the Boxter S though, imagine that would hand me my arse on a plate hehe
I can keep with Boxter S' below 100 and once rolling - lol. So 40-100 :D [with my remap]
The rest are much slower, esspecially the 2.5, but i think it is in the driving experience more than anything with them, but they wouldn't want to out do the 911.......
The S is very quick and handle well, once had a major blast with one, I was driving a BMW 330Ci...are you sure you can keep up with one to a 100
It is due to my enormous torque band (300+ lb/ft from 1800 rpm) - 40-100 isn't very far and 4th gear all the way in my car. I did the Tuner GP recently at Donnington, and down the back straight i was having fun with lots of much much faster cars as it was the perfect exit speed to manipulate the best of my cars perforamance.
The Boxter S is a faster car all-round, stops better, handles better and looks better. I would rather have one any day over my car. In fact I would have a 2.5 over my car. Speed is only a small fraction of what makes a car.
I only lost about 3 car lenghts max to a 330ci up to a ton.
They are like 15 secs on the 1/4 mile i think.
I had a little do with a guy in a carrera s couple weeks ago. I wasnt too far behind until stupid speeds then we both slowed to more reasonable speeds. he didnt seem to happy that a clio was as quick as all that. was hard enough to get him to boot it, prob coz he thot i wasnt worth the race. all fun, and got the classic thumbs up and nod just b4 i pulled off th motorway!
seen a video of craggy chasing one round a track...dunno which track...but the boxter s wasnt goin anywhere.....an that was in his 106
