    exhaust fitting nightmare

    just fitted my scorpion ss cat back ....had a nightmare had to cut old centre section off, the backbox sits fine in bumper aperture, but the centre section is sitting to far over on o/s not even in space where it should be.its so far over it stopping me put the car in reverse and the lever is hitting the cat at the mo......any1 else got a scorpion and had these problems?i spent bout an hour fiddling trying to see if i could sort it pretty sure it not gunna sit right any1 got any ideas?

    why didnt i listen when bout 6 exhaust places told me there a nightmare they never fit right i just laughted and thought they were chatting crap, how wrong i was :(

    wait for richy to come online and onto the site! as far as i know he recently fitted a scorpion to his williams the other week with no problems! ask him he will know!

    Mine was easy to fit.....getting the old one of was a bit of a slag.

    Ramps help alot, mine used to clunk on the rear axel....but had play with it on some ramps and sorted it.

    I hate exhaust fitting btw.....normally leave it to the greese monkeys...but if I have ramps I can use, i will do it myself....working on the floor sucks!!!!

    yea i was gunna but they wanted between 50 and 80 quid.sod that!winston is yourts a scorpion?

    i dont even think its loud at all no difference from standard really....quick question on the mid box does your bracket for the hanger point straight up ?mine does how the hell can i put a rubber hanger on that?is yours quiet as well?

    Yes its very quiet, even with a decat.

    My hangers are different because mine is a 16v (well was). iirc willy ones hang a bit different.

    but the hangeer is pointing up cant see how a rubber is gunna do anythunhg at all.....did urs fit straight on no probs?thinking i may have 2 take it somewhere to get it bent so that it fits properly
