    Returning to Standard Suspension

After getting throughly f****d off with driving a Go-Cart instead of a Williams, I am returning her back to the original suspension. What is required and does anybody know roughly how much, parts and labour.

This has probably been asked before but indulge me I'm OLD.

Also what is the idle speed supposed to be.

Idle speed should be between 700-900rpm.

As for returning it to standard, it depends how its been lowered - if its just springs then it'll be about 40quid each to replace them with new ones or less if s/h. If it needs shox, they're 50quid each

I have a complete set of williams front shocks and springs that have not covered many miles.

As for labour, only 3 bolts, so do it yourself!

Ok i did this. You will need:

    Front springs (UK £80 each)
Top mounts (cheap so do at same time as springs)
    Front shocks (£50 each)
    Rear Shocks (£50 each) damage

Get the rest of the suspension checked to see there is no wear or damage.

May also want to fit new bushes (£30 plus fitting) to tighten her up a bit (oo er).

    Bloody hell - they're £80?! Robbing sods!

NickFr - You could also use 1.8 16v springs as they'd be quite a bit cheaper...

Mat, or anyone else that might know...

The two bolts at the bottom of the strut, are these "once only's", cuz they have the nylon strip at the end and ive just changed my springs... so wondering if i shud replace them with new bolts.

Its good practice to replace them. If you really wanted to use them again you could though. Personally i'd get new ones.
