2.0 16v v mk2 172

Took mate to buy his 172 yesterday and after the long journey back we decided to have a few blats on our favorite duals to which he was abit shocked that i was on his bumper on both runs with him bouncing off limit in every gear when i wasnt!!!

Anyways second was the fairest so il go on about this one. Off the roundabout we go with him in front, second gear straight on the power, no gap gained or lost, third gear the same but 4th gear and i was pulling him in, he hit the breaks as we were running out of road, abit earlier that i than i wouldve hit them but i dont think he liked the fact i might have got level or eved past him!!!

All in all i was pretty pleased and if my old mucker stevo underestedmated the 2.0 mk1s before he doesnt now!!!

Lol, i would if i could fine one to have ago with North............There not that much better than the standard 172's are they?

yes they are. i know i owned one for a year. very quick cars the cups.

yep the cups are a lot better than the full fat 172/182s imo


still slower than the willys tho

I`ll have a play if you`re ever in the NW Jay...engine is loosening up nicely now...still not back to it`s best but not too bad

Im nowhere near unfortunatly chris.......Down in essex the home of boyed up Corsa's and Saxo's!!!

Orrr we go to the extreme of well modded 5's.......I just cant win!!!
