Well, the bill isbeing sent in the post. Maybe he doesn't want to be there when I see it!

Car seems a bit lumpy but then it is cold and it hasn't moved for 6 weeks. Took it for a bit of a spin and it seemed a ibt better. There's a well mad crackle coming from the exhaust when you first press the loud pedal.

It was mid-firing apparently due to a dodgy bit of wiring on one of the injectors but it seems to be ok for now. What does a mis-fire sound like BTW?

misfire is just when the fuel doesn't burn in the chamber and gets pushed out into the zorst and ignites there.

sounds like a bang or pop... normally on gear change/overrun.
