After much looking, etc etc, i have finally got what ive been after.
After a 3 hour round trip have just returned with a lovely Williams 3, only 2 owners, FSH, 62k, absolutely beautiful condition, completely original and standard aprt from CD autochanger in boot(not sure if they were standard?)
Apart from a few test drives tonight was my first proper drive of a Williams and i have to say i was very impressed, felt very responsive, solid and tight, felt like a much newer car, !, ok there is a fair bit of road noise but first impressions are a great car, much fun to be had.
I have had about 30 cars, everything like GTE's, XR2, XR3,Rs2000, Sri, Gsi, Gti's, etc , etc, even a few beemers and a porsche but i have to say the Williams is one of about 3 that have really put a smile on my face.

Interesting to hear what the other two are mate?
They are a mk1 astra gte, which i still have and will never part with, and a mk2 escort 1980 rs2000, great car, wish i still had but had to seel cos of my wedding, oh well. still the williams is making up for it.

Williams 3....... All the cool kids know Williams 2's are where its at. Who wants or indeed needs a sunroof and ABS?????
MK1 Astra GTE's are cool cool cars.
