    Cleaning inlet manifold

I have the inlet manifold off the Williams engine, whilst I do the conversion.

Can I clean the inside of it with carb cleaner?

    Cheers

    James

clean it with anything you want mate.

As long as it is dry before you wang it back on and fire it up, as any residue will be induced into the cylinders to be burnt.

Clean it with petrol mate. It will evapourate on its on anyway within a couple of minutes. Good at removing crud and stuff. I use it on virtually everything in the engine bay.

    Works for me. :D
