Another 3 points

Just what I did not need today, another 3 points for speeding in a 30. This fvcking country and its speeding cameras around every corner is completely crazy. Don't mind the fines so much, but the points really get to me. Am very concerned about insurance renewal with 6 points, but I have read that companies are not hammering people as much just because sooooo many people now have points for speeding, but in a safe manner, i.e. not wreckless driving, just doing 35 in a 30

Has anyone heard of or invested in this??

Yup! Fixed camera, or money tree as I call them. Actually down in Portsmouth, just waiting to hear if my mate got one aswell as we were in close convoy and when I saw a flash I was already past the camera and tell tales so he might be getting bad news, fingers crossed he keeps in the clear.

I got done by a Gatso last Sunday...36 in a 30 (two lanes) and got the letter on Tuesday...just when my licence was going to be clean!

I've got my fingers crossed as well. Went to IKEA in warrington last sat and they had a van on that d/c stretch off the M62.

They had a bike and car there as well though so I'm just praying it was a road tax van. I was certainly close to 50 on the clocks in a 40 so it's borderline.
