Plug blew out - cylinder head removal

Hi All, said hello before on the 16v new owners thread... now i have my first problem with my mk1 valver and was after some useful advice?!

Yesterday one of my plugs pop out to say hello... whilst doing 80 on the m25... still attached to the ht lead, fired out the head, taking the threads with it
I'm gonna try heli-coiling it, and so wondered if anyone had any specific advice for removing the cylinder head (in-car) on one of these engines ??

    Cheers
    Paul

get a long torx t55 bit for the head bolts as a short one wont reach as i found out, make sure you jack the engine under the sump with a block of wood as well so that you can take the top mount off, aside from that its just common sense things like make sure everything is undone etc

undo the bolts in certain direction too, not sure which, but you will risk warping the head iirc
