Drove one today, as it has always been on my list of potential future cars.

It's an awesome driving experience with the engine just behind you and the handling is amazing. No body roll at all and i had it broadside at the second round-about that i came across

Main problem though..... it just isn't very fast Obviously a bit quicker than a willy, but not much.

So, great car, but i won't be buying one!

too much money for what they are... would be better off getting a lotus or rx-7

Nice mate. I'd say that a VX220 Turbo is quicker than an Exige, for instance, though?

I take it you took the VX out on your own then? Or you had a very understanding owner in the passenger seat!

haven't been out in the turbo or the exige, so it's a bit difficult to tell.... but i imagine they would be the kind of pace that i'd be happy with

as for the drive this morning - the sales guy was a good lad.. lol :D

he joked about giving me some marks on my driving before we went out, but i don't think he expected a touch of over-steer on the "test drive"

think i'll be "testing" a few other cars over the next few weeks... and will report back with the details
