    think marks is wrapped... and its something i intend to do... decreases engine bay temps quite a bit !

    What were the pictures of the throttle body with the screw in about?

    Heat wrapping knackers the metal up eventually, its worse for corrosion than leaving it bare. Works quite well though if you want to keep the temps down.

    I worked out what it's for. at wide open throttle the second butterfly doesn't open fully. there's about 5 degrees of 'slack'. Tried it by finding a bolt that took up the slack but still allows the first butterfly to open fully. I don't think it makes much difference at full throttle. But at midrange it feels like you get a load more grunt - which I suppose is true cuz the second throttle opens earlier, and is always gonna be 5-or-so degrees futher open whatever the throttle position.

    it wouldnt corrode a super sprint one though would it?
