Strange Noise

had a strange nose for a while now everytime i break,at first i thought i may of needed some new pads so i went and bought them and fitted them but the noise is still there.i have also checked the brake fluid and it all seems fine,however the other week i had a problem with my handbreak,after taking it off i heard a werid noise and now my hand break is really crap but does work when you pull it up far enough maybe this is the cause of the scraping nose as the handbreak is connected to your breaks on the back right? thats what my mate told me anyway what you reckon?

go for a drive and check to see if your handbrake is dragging.

say do ten miles then feel the alloys for heat - if its been dragging they will be warm.

could be your rear drum seals are on there way out if its got drums on the back, mine has done this before just before there about to pop they make like a clunking sound as i applied the brakes, could be that.

easy sign to tell is get ya head under the back of the car and look for signs of brake fluid on the drums
