    Shiny, Shiny Valver bay

    Nothing to Exciting people but thought i'd share todays progress...

    Took apart some of the engine today, gave it it's annual clean and polish, went a bit crazy and polished and laquered the rocker cover, polished manifold, and sprayed up the mount cover, spark plug cover and hose cover above manifold graphite grey...

    Can't really see much change from pics lol...but it took me bloody hours and all the bits are shiny now (take my word for it!!!)


    Few pics of rocker cover, can't really see how shiny it is but you can see the laquers keyed well to it. The mole grips are reflecting in the second pic down though







    ahh a face only a mother could love...


    Waaah bastard wheels...they need cleaning

    Looking good...I'd paint the inlet manifold they always look grimy as fook.

    yeh was going to do that Martin but was just bothered about the heat...heat resistant paint or should i be ok as long as its all prepped ok?

    Not finished yet, got to take a trip to Halfrauds tomorrow to get some paint and more primer etc, and some degreaser and proper give it a good going over...

    (must remember to put my bonnet back on before i go though )

    Looks good. Nearly as clean as mine I spent a good week cleaning mine. Good effort.
