    rocker cover etc

    Stupid question...

but i'm fine to take the main rocker cover off etc without having to do anything etc (as long as i dont start the engine whilst its off )

good idea to replace the gasket whilst its off too i guess?

yep thats fine... u dont need to take the timingbelt cover off to get at it, as the rocker cover will slide out from under the lip.

you will need a new gasket when u put it back together, which is 16quid from reno.

painting it most probably, although i'm just giving the whole valver a clean up while i've got 4 days off work. engine is pretty clean now, but i'll have it sparkling soon, and thought i may as well wack a new gasket on while i had the chance.

    Thanks :D
