    16"s compared to 15"s

How much would 16 inch wheels on a valver slow you down by?, anyone compared the difference between 15s and 16s?

Also is there any benefit to having 16" wheels on a valver over 15" wheels?

I ask because i am thinking of taking my 16" wheels off the car, mainly due to tyre issues, i.e 195/45/16 is not a particularly common size.

It handles better/more chuckable with 15's and is a little bit nipper.......but thats going from 195/45/16 - 195/45/15

The smaller / lighter the wheels the faster you go.

I had 16's on my old valver then went back to phase 2's. It handled miles better and acceleration was just a bit punchier. Definately a worth while move.

the williams used 16" wheels for tarmac stages, 15" speedlines for gravel stages.... on tarmac the lower profile of the R16's will give u better cornering.
