Window Stickers Front/Rear

I've seen a bunch of Renault/Elf window stickers around, but which ones are the proper ones for a Williams 1?

I bought a set from ebay which I wanted because it included the "Attention - High performance engine, check oil etc etc" sticker (where abouts does this go by the way?).

It comes with a Renault Elf sticker for the rear too. The Renault has the badge to the left, and the Elf on the right has the badge outlined to its right.

The one I currently have on the car is the one from the website - The Renault logo without the badge, and the Elf with outlined badge in a box.

I have also seen the stickers on #0001, which are completely different. Did some digging around and found these replicas from Paul:

Which ones came with the car as-new when sold to lucky owner number one?

My W1 rear window just has the white elf sticker. The front just has the 'Attention' sticker in the top corner, drivers side. Both windows are original.

That's interesting... Do you have any photos?

Does your car have any security stickers on the side?

0001 is a LHD and also a very early chassis number and it had a elf sticker that wasn't fitted to the UK cars. From what I know the elf stickers were fitted at the time of Import into the UK.

However I have seen a few Williams's with the Blue and Red Elf sticker. But I am talking 1 or 2 cars here.

I would say the sticker you have is the right one for the car.

So at the top, in the middle of the right side, or the far right-most corner?

The rear sticker should be approx like the picture below



The Front High Performance engine sticker should be right at the top of the front screen, in the corner on the RHS as you sit in the car.

The elf sticker should go lower left of the rear window with a even border between the bottom and side of the glass.

Note the 'Attention' sticker's placement in the windscreen and the Elf sticker on the rear window (not overly clear I know, but you can see them).
