Employers never learn. The US military spent millions of dollars proving that frequent rest (10 mins evet hour) allows greater volumes of work over a 24 hour period that continuous work.

Didnt realise it was illegal, was fine when i left work, soon as i got in i were fooked

Rest periods are dictated by Brussells. I forget the exact amount but have to have time off to eat and to to the loo. I think its at least 1 hour in 8 for men, and one hour in 6 for women and kids, with no more than 5 consecutive hours without a break.

thort it was a continuous 4 hours work, then a 15 min break period......was a few years back, but probs changed since then...
