Only need a spanner or socketYeah im dropping mine to 1.5 too. I couldnt get my rear bumper off. Mind you i didnt have the right tools.

I think the numbers from 5 to 10 is a bit too compressed. I would rate a "Can do anything inside a Haynes manual" mechanic quite highly. Can't really see many levels from 5 to the ideal "perfect 10" mechanic. I, myself, am more often limited by laziness rather than knowhow - so I guess I am about a 2 to 3.
