    Yeah im dropping mine to 1.5 too. I couldnt get my rear bumper off. Mind you i didnt have the right tools.
    Only need a spanner or socket

    I think the numbers from 5 to 10 is a bit too compressed. I would rate a "Can do anything inside a Haynes manual" mechanic quite highly. Can't really see many levels from 5 to the ideal "perfect 10" mechanic. I, myself, am more often limited by laziness rather than knowhow - so I guess I am about a 2 to 3.

    Id go for a 3, would love to learn more but perhaps in the future i will!

    I would say about -10 for skills but for effort i would put 7 ;) :P In otherwords i try to fix things but end up feckin em up
