    Newbie with a project.

    Hi all,
    I used to have a mint 16v.

But that was a while ago, and I have always loved the Williams, then I saw one on gumtree needing work for a grand.

So I went to have a look it's rough, really rough.

It needs, passenger seat, rear bench, drivers door card, oil pressure sender, both rear arches sorting, rear calipers freeing off or replacing, header tank, heater matrix maybe, blowers don't work, front wing sorting etc etc etc

So I bought it, for 750.

It's motd till July, but tax runs out this month so I am sorning it over winter to sort it out.

Has done 114k, has mega history upto about 96k all at Renault and loads being spent but the last say 5 years looks like it's had nothing at all.

Heat shield also missing, service parts ordered already. It did come with three mint speedlines so only one needs refurbing and some good tyres fitting.

So I am on the lookout for parts and probably some advice when I get going.

Anything less than £1k for a Williams these days is an absolute bargain! Get ready for £££s being spent in the coming months/years getting it back to its best!
