I just use water followed by cheap crap coolant, take for a drive, drop & refill with crap stuff, go for a drive again, drop it all then fill up with type d

i had mega renault chocolate and i dumped and refilled with crap 4 times. then rad flush, then crap flush then lovely type d. sorted
