    Torsion bar removal

    Hello all,

i'm having a hard time removing the rear torsion bars. I've fabricated a slide hammer adaptor, but still no luck. Has anyone used heat? Any hints?

I wouldn't use heat as you have a rubber bush in the mounting arm.

You got a picture of the ends for me to look at?

Will take them soon and post them. They are rusty for sure.

if they are rusty you have no chance unless you can get the axle off and the baars pressed out
