    Valver vs VTS

Driving towards Gommersal from Batley yesterday you can take a shorter route off the main road but its a country lane type thing with a few bends. I was driving steadily, but this car came up behind me and started tailgating me (i.e within about 3 feet). Thinking it was a taxi I slowed down to 15mph and drove across the white line to piss them off, but as I pulled back he overtook me and it was a VTS with 4 chavs in.

I dropped it into 2nd, booted it and caught up easily to say he probably had a 10mph head start, and 2nd from 15mph doesnt do much in a Valver anyway. I sat on his arse for abit, but I knew this dangerous left hander was coming up. It's not a particularly sharp corner, but from the apex it drops away down a slope. He kept going at probably 80mph, and I saw the understeer as soon as he turned. I went round about 65mph with no problems, to be greeted with the sight of a VTS stopped on the wrong side of the road, with buckled rear / smashed front alloys, and a big crease in the sill where it had hit the kerb.

I slowed down, checked they were OK (driver was white as a sheet washed in Daz), then told them to learn to drive and ****ed off.

    See ya

    Matt
