    Clio Williams - Non Start

    Hello all.

I currently have a friends williams clio 3 that we are trying to get back on the road. Its been off the road for around 4 years and now is needed again.

Anyway, the cars always had some starting issuses for some reason but isnt doing anything at the moment, Its had a new starter motor but still nothing.

All you is hear is click noise when you turn the key, the battery has been charged and makes the lights, horn, windows work so think thats fine.

Apprantly its always been troublesome which its starting .

Any ideas seems such a shame its not being used :(

Yea, gearbox earth strap. You can find the earthing point under the front nearside arch. Take it off and give it a darn good scrubbing. Try a bump start first though. Are you sure the starter got fitted right?
