Rev counter not working

As title - rev counter not working.
What is usually the cause?

All wires are attached to the ign. module.

Just normal Renault quality of the instuments?
Never experienced this before.

Check the pink wire on the coil pack

also check out the black wire under the dash.

Few years ago there were some posts on earthing problems and how to fix them, im sure search will probably have it all
