Ride Height

Being new to the Williams, I have been scouring the technical forum to help me understand the little beast. One of the major discussions is Mods being done. I have just bought a Williams 2, it appears that despite being in Good condition it has been altered, particularly the ride height, please comment but be kind!! ie simple explanations.

1. Ride height front 260mm ( centre wheel to arch )
2. Ride height rear 230mm (ditto)

I believe it has bilstein shocks??

Is this too low( what is is it supposed to be ) is it easy to change back, costs, advantages etc...

Standard at the front is 300mm......as for the rear im still trying to find this out
