The cocksocket was right up my chuff just as I left our estate so I kept it on the speed limit 'til we got to the Parkway. Going up the slip road I lost him, and then settled at an indicated 55/60. He then came tooling past at 80+!

Bit further down there's some roadworks so it narrows from 3-2 lanes and I'd manouevred myself in to the outer most lane. He had tried to cut up the inside one (the blocked off one) and got stuck! So I just tootled past.

He caught up a bit but was about 3 cars behind me all the way to town and some fudge nudger in a 3.2 TT convertible was acting as a rolling road block in front of me.

Anyway, just near town it briefly opens back out to 3 lanes so makes a good overtaking spot, which I did. I slotted in when it went back to 2 lanes and he was about 6 cars behind. So I'm tootling down this last bit of d/c before town and all I can see in my rear view mirror is him weaving in and out of every car to try and catch me. He eventually caught me on the main roundabout so I didn't brake for the exit and just tanked it round and gained about 8 car lengths on him and his barge! Then I slowed right down to turn off the main road and gave him a wave as he went past.

Proof that you can drive sensibly and within the speed limit and still get somewhere quicker than someone who weaves in and out and generally drives like a nob.
