Heater controls

Hi been away for a while but im back Im taking my track Clio out of retirement and putting here through a MOT this weekend. First one in two years of being stood....
Anyway i have noticed the heater blower now only works on 2 and 3. 3 is ify and requires a jiggle of the dial. Are these repairable or is a salavged one a better plan?

Sounds like a dodgy control switch connection. Failing that the speeds are controlled by a little unit on the blower motor with some resistors in and you can replace it, not very expensive.

£17 from GSF they are I know as I recently got 1 to fix the same problem on someone elses valver
