How much do u think it would be to do/get someone to fit these bits...
The main reason i ask is im having my gearbox looked at as mine has just exploded..as im doing this and all is out this list may aswell get done too.

cambelt and aux belt change, with poss water pump change too.
take off old and put new widetrack on. (as its valver setup atm).
oil and coolant change/system flush.
also a price for 2nd hand gearbox or a gearbox rebuild..

Cam belt prob around 300-400, oil change and flush you can easily do your self. As for the track conversion, a couple hours of labour I guess. Gear box, around 4/5 hours, plus worth doing clutch while it's being done. I just changed the cam belt tensioners and water pump. Was a major pain in the arse without engine in the car, so to get everything done I'd take the engine out altogether and do the whole lot Then bung it back it. Prob the cheaper and easier way to do it

With the engine already out the labour for doing the cam belt & water pump wont cost as much

Normal price for a cambelt change should only be about £200.

I recently paid £335 for a cambelt, tensioner, idler and aux belt change. It turned out slightly more costly as it necessitated taking the radiator out and refilling the coolant due to a previous bodge!
